    since my ownership it has had two rolling road sessions, has featured at the MITP45 stand for mini magazine after its 8page feature and is also a star of the Ultimate mini Extreme DVD. During the filming of this, it was used for the example lap, a lot of the in car footage and also was said of by Bill Sollis (champion Miglia driver) that it would be his choice of car to own out of all of them there! it was also less than 1/2 a second slower than the Twin Bike engined mini that is doing the rounds. I have also fitted a Clifford Cat 1 alarm/immob, 10 disc Sony black face remote stereo and 6x9's. there is also a sub but it isn't wired up (not really my Scene but it looks pretty :-). There is also a snap off steering wheel boss for two reasons... 1) security 2) as the column is moved slightly on a Vtec conversion, it didn't give me enough knee room. using the snap-off moves the wheel closer to you so a) you can move the seat back, giving you a better driving position and b) it clears your knees :-)

    For insurance I went through Graham Sykes using their online system for hot rods and highly modified. after a phonecall and e-mail to confirm spec, it cost me £168 fully comp (I am 33 so obviously yours will be different.)
